Attractions at the Mall of America in Minnesota, frequently referred to as MOA or the Megamall, draw crowds of residents and visitors to the area each year. Underwater Adventures® at the Mall of America®
A Walk Under Water
The Underwater Adventures® Aquarium, a very popular attraction at the Mall of America, is the largest in Minnesota with over 1.2 million gallons of water. The Aquarium features a 300-foot long tunnel with a moving walkway traveling under 14 feet of water to simulate realistic scuba diving. There are actually four great adventures in the Aquarium, with over 4,500 living sea creatures, sharks, stingrays, moray eels, and turtles. The first adventure, Turtley Awesome Woods, is a walk though a forest filled with turtles, trout, toads, and piranhas. This exhibit includes Sea Guinness, a gigantic turtle, and Sea Brutus, a 60-year old snapping turtle, as well as Turtle Town and Softshell Suburbs.

The Park at the Mall of America®
The Park at MOA, the largest indoor amusement park in the United States, is one of the main attractions, covering over seven acres of exciting rides and entertainment. Camp Snoopy was the original name of The Park, with the overall theme based upon characters from the cartoon strip “Peanuts.” Charles Schultz, the creator of this comic strip, was born in St. Paul, Minnesota.
